Barcelona star set to leave to make way for January signing
One in, one out
Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan is set to leave the Catalan giants this summer to make way for the potential signing of Nice star Jean Michael Seri.
The Turkish star has not really had a huge effect at the Camp Nou following his move from Atletico Madrid.
The midfielder was once one of the bigger names in the Spanish top flight during his time at the Vincente Calderon but decided to switch to Barcelona.
It has not been a brilliant couple of months for the player after becoming frustrated with his time at the Camp Nou.
The player retired from international duty with Turkey in June after a bust-up on an international flight with a journalist.
The Turkey team were set to jet off after an international game earlier in the summer but it didn’t go to plan as the player was incensed by a media member.
Punches were thrown and he admitted he had made a mistake while wearing the Turkish colours.
Back at Barcelona, it hasn’t quite worked out as he would have hoped and is set to be sold to make way for Nice’s Jean Michael Seri.
The Ivorian midfielder has impressed in Ligue 1 and is being targeted by a plethora of top teams in Europe.
Although Spanish media and much more are sure of a possible move for Jean Michael Seri from Barcelona in January, the player does not think he will move.
The player commented during the week to French reporters and claimed that he does not think he will move in the winter window.
